Reading Passage
Last Saturday, Anna went to the city to meet her old school friend, Mark. They hadn’t seen each other for more than three years because Mark had moved abroad. When Anna arrived at the café, Mark was already waiting for her. They talked for hours about their families and jobs. Anna has worked as a teacher for five years, and she really enjoys her work. Mark told her about the places he had visited before coming back. While they were talking, it started to rain heavily, so they decided to go to the cinema. They watched a comedy film and laughed a lot. By the time they left the cinema, the rain had stopped. Today, Anna is writing about the meeting in her diary. She is sure they will meet again soon, and next time they will bring their families too.
