Reading Passage
Last Saturday, Linda and her friends went to the countryside. The weather was sunny and warm, and everyone felt happy. They walked slowly along a small road and enjoyed the fresh air. Linda’s little brother was very noisy, but he played happily with other children. At lunchtime, they ate in a small restaurant. The waiter was polite, and he served the food quickly. The food was delicious, and they all ate cheerfully. After lunch, they visited a local market. The sellers shouted loudly but smiled politely. In the afternoon, Linda’s father drove them safely back home. Linda said it was a really wonderful day, although it finished too quickly.
