📖 Reading Passage
Last summer, my family and I went on a holiday to Italy. We flew into Rome and stayed in a small hotel near the city center. Every morning, we had breakfast at the hotel and then walked to see the sights. One day, we visited the Colosseum, which is one of the most famous landmarks in the world. Another day, we went to the Vatican City and saw the Pope from a distance.
We also enjoyed eating Italian food. I will never forget tasting the pizza in Naples—it was delicious! My sister doesn’t eat meat, so she usually ordered pasta or salad. In the evenings, we liked walking around the streets and listening to – music played by street performers.
At the end of our trip, we took a train to Florence, where we stayed in an apartment. It was the best holiday we have ever had.
