Choosing Our Video Game Characters
Alex
When I play online games, I always choose a character with very bright hair. I love pink or blue! I don't care if my character is small or weak. For me, looking cool is much more important than being strong. I often use my game coins to buy funny hats or new jackets for my character. My friend plays with a character that wears a boring grey suit. I think that is very sad. I want everyone to see my character easily!
Ben
I always spend a long time making my game character. I try to make him look exactly like me. I have brown eyes and short dark hair, so my character has those too. I never give him strange space costumes or scary masks. My character just wears a simple white t-shirt and blue jeans, because I wear those clothes every day. Some people like playing as tall monsters, but I prefer to see a normal boy on my screen.
Charlie
My favourite game has many different characters. I never choose the human ones. I always play as a large green animal with big teeth! I want my character to look very angry and frightening. When I play against other people online, I hope my scary face makes them run away. My brother likes to make his character look beautiful, but I think that is boring. My monster is very tall and heavy, and he looks great when he is fighting.
