Colours and Our Moods
Lily
I love bright colours, especially yellow. When I wake up feeling happy, I always put on a yellow T-shirt or jumper. I think this bright colour makes my friends smile, too. It brings sunshine to the classroom! But my mood changes sometimes. When I feel sad or tired, I do not want to look at bright things. On those days, I leave my yellow clothes in the cupboard and wear a grey sweater instead. Grey matches my quiet mood perfectly.
Mark
My favourite colour for clothes is dark blue. I wear blue jeans and a blue jacket when I want to feel calm. If I have a lot of homework, this colour helps me to sit quietly and finish it. When I was younger, I often wore red shirts when I felt angry about something. I do not do that now. Today, if I feel angry, I just go for a run in my black sports clothes to feel better.
Chloe
I have a lot of black clothes in my bedroom. My mother really hates this colour, but I think it is great. I put on my favourite black boots and black coat when I need to be brave. It makes me feel very strong, so I always wear black when I have a difficult maths exam. Sometimes, I need a break from studying.
