Making up with a friend
Alex
My friend and I play online video games every evening. Last week, we lost a match, and I got angry. I said some bad things to him in the chat. He didn't reply, and I felt terrible. The next day, I wrote a long message to say sorry. I told him it was my fault. He accepted my apology quickly. We are happy again, and now we always play on the same team. We never argue about winning or losing anymore.
Bella
I had an argument with my best friend because of a photo. I put a silly picture of her on the internet. She was very angry. I tried to call her, but she didn't answer. The next day, I asked her to meet me in the park. We sat on the grass and talked about the problem. I told her I deleted the picture. She smiled, and we went to get an ice cream together. We are best friends again.
Charlie
Sometimes it is hard to understand text messages. I sent a message to my friend with a joke, but he thought I was being mean. He sent a very angry message back to me! I was worried, so I did not write back. Instead, I called him on his mobile phone. When he heard my voice, he knew it was a joke. We talked for an hour and laughed about it. Asking before we share photos
Mia
Last month, I put a great picture of my friends and me online. I didn't ask them first. A few minutes later, my friend Sarah sent me a message. She was really unhappy because her eyes were closed in the photo. She asked me to delete it. I felt terrible, so I took it off the internet immediately. Now, I always ask my friends before I share any pictures of them. It is very important to make sure everyone is happy first.
David
I love taking photos when I go out with my friends. But I know that everyone wants to look nice on the internet. I never want to make my friends feel bad. Because of this, I always show them the pictures first. We have a group chat on our phones. I send the photos there, and we choose the best ones together. If someone doesn't like a picture, I don't share it. I only put photos online when everyone says yes.
Chloe
A few weeks ago, my older sister shared a really silly photo of me on her page. She thought it was funny, but I was angry. Lots of people I don't know saw it!
