Balancing homework and music
Ben
I play the guitar. I always do my school homework as soon as I get home. I don’t like waiting until after dinner because I get too tired. When my homework is finished, I can finally relax and play my guitar. Sometimes, my teachers give us a lot of math to do. When that happens, I don't have any time to practice my music. That makes me feel a bit sad. But usually, I can do both.
Lily
I love the piano, but my evenings are very busy. So, I wake up early and practice my music before breakfast. It is quiet then, and I can play well. I finish most of my homework in the library at school. If I have more work, I do it after dinner. Sometimes, I feel sleepy in the morning, but this plan works for me. My older brother plays the violin, but he doesn't like waking up early!
