Tips on how to clean and look after your digital tablet
Cleaning the Screen
Your digital tablet has a beautiful glass screen. It is important to keep it clean so you can see your games and videos clearly. You must never use water or soap to wash your tablet. These things can break the machine! Instead, you should buy a special soft cloth. Clean the screen with the cloth every day to remove dirty marks. If you do this, your tablet will always look new and work perfectly for a long time.
Saving the Battery
A good battery helps you use your tablet all day without problems. You should only use the white cable that comes in the box to charge it. Other cheap cables can actually break your tablet. Also, try not to leave your tablet by the window on bright sunny days. Hot weather is very bad for the battery. Finally, remember to take the cable out when the battery is 100% full. Leaving the cable in the tablet all night is a bad idea.
Carrying your Tablet
Tablets are very light, so it is easy to take them to school or to a friend's house. But remember, they can break easily if they fall! You should spend some money on a strong cover to put around your tablet. When you put the tablet inside your backpack, make sure there are no heavy school books on top of it. Also, always remember to close your bag safely so your device does not fall out onto the floor.

Earning money by editing short videos
Leo
I earn some money by making short travel videos for my uncle. He goes on holiday often and sends me lots of long videos. I cut the boring parts out. I learned how to do this by watching lessons on the internet. My uncle always asks me to add popular songs, but I prefer to just keep the real sounds. I keep the money he gives me in a box because I want to buy a better camera soon.
Sara
The woman who lives next door has three children. She pays me to edit videos of their birthday parties. I add funny words and happy music to the pictures. I use my dad’s old laptop to do my work because my computer is broken. I really love this job. When I leave school, my dream is to start my own video company. I do not spend my money. I put it in the bank every month.
Tom
A friend of my parents is a football coach. He films his team every Saturday and pays me to edit the videos. He needs to show the video to the players on Sunday morning, so I have to work very fast! I used my first month's money to buy a special computer program. It makes the job much easier. Sometimes I make a mistake and put the wrong names on the screen, but I always change them quickly!
