Underground School Trip Guidelines

Guide A: Waiting for the train

When you arrive at the underground station, please keep your ticket in your hand. You need it to go through the gates. Walk slowly and do not run on the stairs. When you wait on the platform, you must stay away from the edge. Never cross the yellow line. Look at the digital clock to see when the train is arriving. When the doors open, let other people get off first before you step inside. Remember to follow your teacher!

Guide B: Inside the train

When you are on the train, find a place to sit quickly. If the train is full, please stand up and offer your seat to older people or young children. Put your backpack on the floor so it is not in the way of other people. Do not listen to loud music or shout to your friends. Also, you must not eat your sandwiches or leave empty bottles on the train. Keep the train clean for everyone.

Guide C: Arriving at the station

When the train stops at your station, make sure you have everything. Look on your seat for your jacket, phone, or bag. Do not leave your things behind! Step off the train carefully because there is often a gap. After you get off, you must wait for the rest of your class on the platform. Do not walk away alone. Stay close to your teacher. You will all walk up the stairs and go outside together.

    Almost missing the coach!

    Leo

I love photography. On the school geography trip, I walked down to the river to get some photos of the rocks. I didn’t look at my watch for a long time. When I wanted to check the time, my phone had no battery! I had to guess the way back to the coach park. I walked very fast. When I arrived, the coach engine was already on. The driver was just closing the door! I was the last person to get on.

    Mia

We finished our geography project early, so I went to a small café with my friends. I drank some juice and we talked. Then, we walked to the coach. When we got there, I looked for my phone in my bag. But I didn't have my bag! I left it on a chair in the café. I had to go all the way back. Our teacher came with me. We ran very fast and caught the coach just in time!

    Sam

I almost missed the coach because of a silly mistake. The teacher told us to meet at the coach at half past three. I thought he said four o'clock! I sat on a bench and started drawing a picture of the hills. Then, my best friend called my phone. He asked me where I was. I looked at the time and I was really surprised! I ran to the coach park quickly. Everyone was already on the bus, waiting for me.
