Filming the school concert

I stood at the back of the hall to film the school concert. I put my camera on a tall stand so my arms didn't get tired. From there, I could see the whole stage easily. It was a great place, but some parents in front of me talked a lot. Sometimes I could not hear the music clearly! Now I am watching the video at home on my computer. I really enjoy cutting the bad parts and making the video look perfect.
Chloe
My job was to walk around near the stage. I used my father’s new digital camera. He usually takes photos with it, but the video quality is fantastic. I moved to different places all evening to record the singers. It was really fun, but my legs hurt a lot after two hours of standing and walking! Music rules in the school study halls
The Quiet Study Hall
You can use this room to read your books and do homework in silence. You can listen to music here, but there are strict rules. You can only listen to soft instrumental music, like classical piano. You cannot listen to pop songs with singers. You must wear your headphones at all times. Please do not give one of your headphones to a friend. We want to keep this room very quiet. If your music is too loud, a teacher will ask you to turn it off.
The Teamwork Study Hall
This room is great if you need to finish a school project with your classmates. You can talk in this room, so you do not need headphones. Our teachers play music from a small speaker in the corner. They usually choose pop or soft rock music. The music is never very loud. You cannot play your own music on your mobile phone here. If you want to change the song, you must ask the teacher. Please remember to talk quietly to your friends.
The Computer Study Hall
You can use the school computers in this room to write stories or search the internet. You must bring your own headphones if you want to listen to music. In this room, you can choose any music you like. Fast and energetic dance music is fine! However, other students are trying to work. Because of this, you must not sing along to your favourite songs. Taking photos for the school newsletter
Leo
I love taking photos for the school newsletter. Every Friday, I go to the football games. I take pictures of the players.
