Our Profile Pictures
Tom
I do not like taking photos of my face. I always think I look a bit silly! Because of this, my profile picture on my chatting app is my pet dog, Buster. He is a large brown dog and he is very funny. My friends love seeing him. I do not keep the same picture for a long time. I usually take a new photo of Buster every week and put it on my profile. It makes everyone smile.
Sara
Most of my friends use photos of themselves for their apps, but I use a drawing. My older sister is brilliant at art, and she painted a beautiful picture of me. I use it because it has lots of bright colours. I only use real photos of myself when I chat online with my grandparents. They live in another country and they want to see how much I am growing! But for my friends, the drawing is perfect.
Ben
I love being outside, so my profile picture shows me playing basketball. It is my favourite sport. I didn't take the photo at school. I actually took it last August when I was on a beach holiday with my parents. The sun was very bright that day. Some people just use a picture of their favourite band or video game. But I think it is nice to use a picture that shows your real hobbies.
