Time Managers
Do you want to work at the weekend and get good marks at school? The most important thing is your timetable. You should write down all your classes and work hours on a calendar. Try to finish your school homework on Friday afternoon before your job begins. Then you can enjoy your weekend work! You must also ask your manager for short hours. Two or three hours a day is enough for a student. Remember to tell your family about your plan!
Smart Workers
You can easily have a job and do your schoolwork. First, find a quiet job, like working in a library or a small shop. When the shop is not busy, you can open your school books. You can read or learn new words during your break! Also, it is a good idea to speak to your boss. Explain that you have big tests at school. A kind boss will give you fewer hours when you need to study. Do not worry!
Healthy Students
Having a part-time job is great, but you must look after yourself. You cannot study well if you are always tired. You must get eight hours of sleep every night. If you work on Saturday, you should keep Sunday completely free. Do not work or study on Sunday evening! Go for a walk or watch a film with your friends instead. If your job makes you feel ill or sad, you must stop. Your health and your school lessons are more important than money.

I needed a new backpack because my old one was too small. I play football after school, so I need to carry my sports clothes and boots. To get the money, I did a lot of jobs around the house.
