When you buy new clothes or games online, the computer often asks a question. It asks if you want to keep your password for next time. You must always click 'no'. This is very important if you use a computer at the school library. If you save your password, the next student can open your account. They can see your name and address. Always remember to keep your personal information safe from other people.
Keep Your Account Closed
It is fun to look at shopping websites with your friends. But you should never save your password on the screen. Maybe your little brother or sister uses the same laptop at home. If your password is saved, they might buy expensive things by mistake! It is a much better idea to write your passwords in a small notebook. You can hide this book in your bedroom. This way, you will not forget your password.
The Password Rule
Many teenagers save their passwords on their mobile phones because it is fast. But if you lose your phone, someone else can use your shopping app. They can spend all your pocket money! You should type your password every time you visit a shop online. It takes a few extra seconds, but it keeps your money safe. Also, try to use a long password with numbers.
