Shopping for a beach holiday

I am going to Spain with my family next week. I really hate walking around busy clothes shops. Because of this, I stayed at home and ordered my summer clothes on my computer. I bought some swimming shorts and three T-shirts. Unfortunately, the box arrived very late, and the shorts are the wrong colour! I do not have time to send them back, but they are okay. I just want to sit on the beach and eat lots of ice cream!

My parents are taking me to Italy for our summer holiday. Yesterday, I went to the big shopping centre with my classmates to look for clothes. I had a wonderful time! Packing Light: How to Choose Your Clothes
Weekend Trips
When you go away for a weekend, you do not need many things. Just put two or three plain T-shirts in your bag. They are great because you can wear them with anything. Always bring one warm jumper. You can put it over your T-shirt if the weather gets cold. Only pack one pair of jeans. They take up a lot of space in your bag, so you should wear them on the train. You can wear the same jeans every day!
Beach Holidays
Packing for the beach is very easy. You should pack clothes that you can use for two things. Choose some dark sports shorts. You can wear them to swim in the sea, and you can also wear them to walk into town. You do not need to bring a special summer dress. An extra large T-shirt is perfect to wear over your swimming clothes. Remember to pack a big towel. You can dry yourself with it, or sit on it on the sand.
City Visits
Walking around a new city is fun, but your bag can get heavy. Leave your big boots at home. You just need one pair of clean sports shoes. They are comfortable for long walks, and they also look nice when you go to a restaurant later. Bring a smart shirt, too. You can leave it open like a jacket during the day, and wear it closed for dinner. Do not bring a heavy coat. A light rain jacket is much easier to carry.

Traditional Souvenirs
