Positive Apps

Lucas

I have a great app on my phone with positive words. I always open it early in the morning before breakfast. It helps me start the day well. Sometimes, school is difficult and I worry about my homework. The app has brilliant ideas about learning, and they make me feel ready to study. My sister also loves the app. She does not have a phone, so we always read the new messages together on my screen.

Sofia

I play a lot of tennis, but I often feel nervous before a big game. My friend told me about an app that shows positive quotes. Now, I read it before every match. The words tell me to be strong and try my best. I want to remember my favourite messages, so I keep a small notebook. I put the words in it with a pen. I don't send them to my friends, but they know I use the app.

Toby

Sometimes teenagers have problems with their friends, and this can make us feel sad. When I feel bad, I use a special app. It gives me short, happy quotes. My favourite ones are very funny and they always make me smile. I like to help my friends feel good too. When I see a great message on the app, I share it with them in a text. I usually do this in the evening when I finish my homework.

    How to Block Unfriendly Users

    GamerGuard

Playing games online is fun, but sometimes other players are not nice. If someone says bad words, you do not have to wait until the game finishes. You can block them immediately. Just click on their name and choose 'Block'. After this, they cannot join your games again. If you only want to stop hearing them, you can choose 'Mute'. This turns off their sound, but you can still play with them. Remember, you can always ask your parents to play with you!

    ChatSafe

We want you to feel safe when you send messages on our app. If a user is unfriendly, you can block them. When you do this, the app also takes them off your friends list. They cannot see your messages anymore. You can also report them. This sends their bad message to our workers, and we will check it. To be even safer, you can go to your settings and hide when you are using the app. Then, nobody knows you are online.

    PicShare Rules

Sharing photos is a great way to show what you are doing. But you must keep your digital space safe! If someone writes unkind things under your pictures, you can turn off comments. This stops everyone from writing on your photos. You can also block the unfriendly user so they cannot see your page. For the best safety, change your account to 'Private'. Then, only people you really know can look at your photos and send you messages. Keep your space happy!

What my lock screen says about me

      Emma

My lock screen is a photo of my dog, Buster. I took it in the park next to my house. I think it shows my personality well because I am a very caring person. I always give Buster his food and water. My brother gets a different picture for his phone every week, but I never change mine. Some people like photos of loud concerts, but I prefer my funny dog. Looking at him always makes me smile during a difficult school day.

      Liam

I have a great picture of a rock band on my phone. I didn't take it myself because I just found it on a music website. I think this picture shows that I have a lot of energy! I love going to busy places and making a lot of noise. I never put photos of quiet beaches on my screen. I actually change my lock screen every week. When I find a great new song, I put a photo of that singer on my phone.

      Chloe

The picture on my phone is a beautiful beach. I took this photo on a family holiday last year. I really want to travel there again one day. I think this picture shows that I am a quiet person. When I have a big test at school, I look at the blue water and it helps me feel calm. My friend has a picture of her cat, but I prefer nature. I like sitting in the garden and listening to the birds.
