Hi! I'm Gina, and I'm 16 years old. Most of my friends work in cafes or shops at the weekend, but I have a very different job. I clean giant fish tanks! A lot of doctors and dentists have big electronic aquariums in their waiting rooms. They look great, but they get dirty quickly. My job is to visit these places and wash the green dirt off the glass.
There are lots of things I love about my work. The best part is watching the fish. Some of them are yellow, blue or bright red, and they are beautiful to look at. When I clean the inside of the glass, the fish often swim around my hands. It is a very quiet and relaxing job, and I don't have to talk to the people in the waiting rooms.
However, the work is sometimes very hard. To clean a tank, I have to take out a lot of the old water. In the past, I used plastic buckets for this. It takes the dirty water out very fast, so I don't have to carry anything heavy. If you want to start doing this job, my advice is to get a pump immediately. It makes everything much safer and easier!
