Reading Passage

Last summer, Emma traveled around Europe. She first went to Paris, which she thought was more beautiful than Rome. However, Rome was cheaper and the food was better. Among all the cities she visited, London was the most expensive, but it also felt the safest. Emma climbed the Eiffel Tower, and she said it was higher than any building she had ever seen before. When she took a train to Switzerland, she found the journey more comfortable than the bus ride in Italy. The mountains in Switzerland were the highest she had ever visited, and she walked slower than usual because the paths were steeper. Of all her experiences, the boat trip on the Rhine River was the most exciting. She took many photos, but the best one was of a sunset in the Alps. For Emma, this trip was more enjoyable than her holiday the previous year.
