Reading Passage
I have lived in this small town since 2005. At first, life here was very different for me because I came from a big city. I used to work long hours, but now I have had a quieter life for many years. My house is just ten minutes’ walk from the local market, and I always buy fresh vegetables and fruit from the farmers there. I have been teaching at the local school for more than ten years, and I have known most of my students’ families since they were children. The town has changed a lot since I moved here. We have had a new hospital for two years, which has been very helpful. I also receive letters from old friends who still live in the city. Sometimes I miss the noise and lights, but I have been happy here for almost twenty years now.
