Reading Passage
Next month, my company will send me to Singapore for a two-week business trip. By the time I leave, I will have completed all my current projects in the office, so I won’t have to worry about unfinished tasks. During the trip, I will be attending several important meetings with international clients, and I will also be giving a presentation about our new product.
At this time next week, I will be flying across the ocean and thinking about what lies ahead. By the time I land in Singapore, I will have travelled for more than 12 hours. On the first day there, I will be meeting our partners for lunch, and in the evening I will be having dinner with my manager. By the end of the first week, I will have built stronger relationships with the team.
The second week will be even busier. At this time two weeks from now, I will be preparing for the final conference. By the time the conference ends, I will have presented our strategies to more than 200 people.
