Reading Passage

Last weekend, my friends and I went on a trip to the mountains. Before leaving, our teacher told us: “You must wear comfortable shoes and you mustn’t forget your water bottles.” He also said: “You should bring a hat, because it might be sunny.”

During the trip, we walked for hours. Some students were tired, but we couldn’t stop too often. We had to follow the plan. At lunchtime, we found a nice place near a river. Our teacher said: “You can eat your sandwiches here, but you mustn’t throw rubbish around. You should keep the place clean.”

In the afternoon, the weather changed. It became cloudy, and it might rain. Our teacher said we should hurry. Luckily, we got back to the bus before the rain started. It was a great trip, and we learned that rules with “must” and “mustn’t” are important for safety, while “should” gives good advice.
